Hi Everyone,
Hi everyone, How about that 2008 MN State Fair?. Wasn't
it fun? With the economy the way it is, it is always great to be able
to go to the many free things at the fair such as the concerts and exhibits.
We really made the Fudge Puppies with record breaking volume this year,
also. The lines got to be quite long at times, but you know you are getting
them fresh and not from under heat lamps. Fresh is the only way to have
them.
I want to thank all of those customers that helped participate in Granny's 89th
Birthday party at Little Falls. The crowd just jumped right in and made her day
with first singing Happy Birthday to her and then wishing her that all day. We've
already been thinking about plans for her 90th next year at the State Fair.
It was so fun to recognize you loyal fans. I so do appreciate you coming up to
me and with your emails telling me how much you love the Fudge Puppies. I know
we aren't as big as the big boys , yet, but your positive input keeps me going,
and I do love my fun employees. I get the sweetest notes from them all at the
end of the fair. We're actually going to keep getting together throughout the
winter just for fun. Now that is team spirit and the sense of family and harmony
I try to cultivate in my employees.
As you spread the word of how much you love Fudge Puppies, please remind people
that they are baked and not your typical fair food of grease. Also, they have
low sugar with just that light layer of special chocolate that you can't buy
anywhere in a store. Then topped off with elite whipped cream , the combination
is exquisite.
I'm trying to get the fair to do an alternative menu for those of us that don't
like grease, but a little sugar to delight the palate. I was actually on KARE
11 several yrs. ago with a dietician that talked about how to eat healthier at
the State Fair. Although, I can't claim to be a health food, she did say that
if you just need that bit of sweet, that the Fudge Puppies were the best bet.and
oh, so tasty.
I'd love to keep hearing from you and please spread the word to friends and relatives.
With Love and Gratitude,

Not your typical fair food, Granny's Kitchen's Famous Fudge Puppies are
a rolled Belgian Waffle Baked in a special grid that uses NO grease, only
extreme heat that puffs the waffle around a stick, crispy on the outside,
cake consistency on the inside.
We then dip the waffle in a light coating of luscious special order chocolate
that sets up like a candy bar on warm items and top it off with whipped
cream and crunchy sprinkles, strawberries or M & M's.
With very little sugar and no grease it is elite and delightful. Many
people eat several a day throughout the fair.
